Celebrating 100 Days!

TREXposé officially launched 100 days ago. Since then, the site has welcomed more than 12,000 readers from 107 countries— sincere thanks to every single one of you!

I’ve put together just a few fun facts (and a super-quick video) to mark the occasion…

The five countries with the highest readership are:

1.     United States
2.     Argentina
3.     Canada
4.     United Kingdom
5.     Mexico

The most read articles so far are:

1.
Uncover the History of Europe’s Stolpersteine
2.     New Rules for Entry to Europe
3.     Packing Essentials for Overseas Travel
4.     Protect Yourself from Pickpockets
5.     Prague Resistance in WW2: The Czech Martyrs

Overall, interest is split between the “storytelling” articles and the “practical” ones— so you can expect to see a roughly even number of both types going forward.

Honorable mention goes to “Find Nesting Sea Turtles in Costa Rica”, which received the most likes on Facebook. (I have to admit, that surprised me.)

Would you have guessed that 88% of readers accessed the site on their smart phones? Tablet users accounted for 9% of activity, and just 3% of the audience arrived via desktop computers.

A whopping 95% of visitors found the site on social media. (I’m told Google searches will drive a larger percentage of traffic as the site matures and activity increases.) But in the meantime, please continue to share articles online!

To date, 28 original, personally written blog posts and 320 of my own photos have been uploaded to the site. And that’s only the beginning! I hope you’ll keep coming back for new content every week and invite your friends and family to join us.

Thank you again for your interest and support— and best wishes for a festive holiday season!

Did you know most blogs fold before reaching 100 days? That’s why I’m thrilled we reached the 6-month milestone, too!
